Obituary for Martin "Marty" John Kloska
Martin “Marty” John Kloska, 90, of Hoopeston, passed away at 8:05 p.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at Heritage Health, in Hoopeston.
Martin was born on November 1, 1932, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Martin and Stella (Jaworksi) Kloska. He married Carol Yates on September 8, 1957. She preceded him in death on July 14, 2018.
Martin is survived by his children: Marty (Jodi) Kloska of Crystal Lake, Il; two daughters-Mary Lou (Rick) Brackmann of Hoopeston, Kathleen (Steven) Margevich of Chicago; grandchildren- Jessica, Joshua (Danielle), Katie (Jason), Shaylah (Shaun), Dylan, Zachary (Alice), Emily, and Anna; and great- grandchildren- Julia, Wyatt, James, Michael, Gabby, Jackson, Genevieve and Margot.
Marty was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed woodworking, scrapbooking and spending time with his family. One of his greatest joys was being Santa Clause for the children of his family and community.
According to his wishes cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Illiana Cremation Society has the honor of assisting the Kloska family with the cremation arrangements.
