Obituary for Pamela Gene Skinner
Pamela Gene Skinner, 69, of Danville, passed away at 12:11 a.m. Sunday, May 28, 2023, at OSF Heart of Mary Medical Center, in Urbana.
Pam was born on October 14, 1953, in Danville, the daughter of Lester and Rheta (Wells) Johnson.
She is survived by her mother; daughter- Jennifer (Chris) Strode of Kentucky; daughter-in-law- Brandi Folden of Kentucky; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and one on the way; five brothers; one sister; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, son-John Folden and two great-grandchildren.
Pam worked for several years as a cook at Casey’s, in Chrisman. She was a member of the Sidell Assembly UPC. She enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family and friends.
A Celebration of Pam’s Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 12th, 2023, at the Sidell Assembly UPC, 301 E. Main Street, Sidell, Illinois, with Pastor Tim Pearman officiating.
